Bottle @ Max and Jess’s housewarming. Golden pour almost like a sparkling wine.Tart apples and light sweetness. Full apple tones on aroma an flavor.

Had this at Max and Jess’s housewarming. Pours a clear gold with an orange tinge. Apples, hay, tart acid. Super tart and tangy acid. Long applesauce and light acid on the finish. Neat.

2/10/2010: Farnum Hill Ciders 2003 Ashmead’s Kernel... Aroma: Apple wine (light and dry, not a lot of apple). Appearance: Still; the color of an American Light Lager beer. Flavor: Slightly sour, hints of apple cider vinegar; not much apple. Palate: Light-bodied; thin. Overall: First sip is okay, it only goes downhill from there...

Bottle 2003 with hand written label - Unreleasded. Poured light pale color with a small white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Light aroma of apple and sour. Light body with a thin texture and no carbonation. Flavor of sour apple with a light sour finish. My expectations were not met - too old.
