COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sparkling, clear, golden. Blended for potent fruit and acid, subdued tannins, somehow it offers a surprising and delightful suggestion of whisky sours with nothing like the alcoholic penalty. Alcohol content 7.5% by volume. 750 ml. bottle, mushroom cork closure (no corkscrew needed). Nice to get fun and information in the same bottle, yes? The fun is in the flavor, a little sweeter and more accessible than our regular styles, with keen acid and tons of fruit, plus a clean, food-enhancing finish. The information, familiar all over the cider-drinking world but generally forgotten here in the States, is that traditional fermented ciders make ideal hot-weather companions. Don't chill Summer Cider (or any FH bottle) very far down, you'll lose contact with its fullest flavor.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Clear clear light yellow pour. Smells of sweet but tough cider. Some harsh chemicals. Tastes of tart fruit that finishes easily. Better than I thought.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a really light head that fades and a clear golden body. Some legs, surprisingly. Aroma of cork, apple and light horse. Taste is dry and delicate apples with light acidity. Nicely balanced and easy to drink. Medium carb and dry finish (as it should). Very nice.

Sour and flavorful, with herbal notes, slightly nutty, with a hint of clove and yeast. A pleasurable green apple sourness and acidity is the dominant element. A very nice cider - like the label says, it is keen.

750ml bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours a orangish amber. Nose is rich fragrant apples and a bit of oak. Effervescent mouthfeel and strong tart apples. Nice full body for a cider but with no noticable alcohol at all. Really nice well made cider in the french tradition.

Nice golden color with moderate carbonation and a big, tart appley aroma that has raw apple skins and a bit of gueuze mixed in. Flavor is solid, tart apple with pleasant acidity & sourness, and just enough tannic bite to keep the experience going. Really good cider from these guys.
