A hazy light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dusty hops and wheat. The mouthfeel is very sparkling with flavor notes of wheat and barley malt as well as lighter notes of citrus and banana.

A fruity German Hefeweizen with a nice white head. The color is gold yellow and slightly darker than other German Hefeweizen. Aroma is yeasty and fruity: citrus, pear and apple. The taste is a little bit sweet and sour but not bitter. IMHO the palate is not creamy enough and the finish a quite abrupt.

Darkish hazy golden, frothy but not too durable head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, fruit, some elderflower and vinous elements, cloves and banana. Taste is more clove than banana, wheat, citrus. Slightly dry finish, even less astringent.

Schon komisch, von Edelweiss steht auf meiner Flasche nichts, sondern schlicht Hefe-Weizen, aber diese Version gibts ja selbst auf der Brauereiseite selbst...Seis drum. Dieses Weizen ist gut: Bananig-hefiges-nelkiges Aroma; im Geschmack die Duplizität der Ereignisse. Erfrischend, ausgewogen und mit ner ordentlichen Würze. Es könnte noch nen Ticken mehr Hefe vertragen, aber insgesamt ein Maul von Bier. LECKER!

Um Klassen besser als die leichte Variante zeigt sich die "Vollversion". Dezenter fruchtiger Hauch, schönes hefiges Aroma. Eine Säuerlichkeit kommt zwar auf, aber in einem zu vernachlässigendem Intensitätsgrad. Alles in allem recht gut, am Nachgeschmack könnte noch gefeilt werden.

On tap at Pfänderhohle in Österreich. Poured hazy yellow in colour with white foamy head. Fruity banana and bubblegum flavour with some spices as well. Medium carbonated. Fruity finish.

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, banana notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100220]

Cloudy golden with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hints of banana and wheat. Sweet and fruity flavour with bananas and wheat. Finished sweet.

Bottle, 5.3%. The aroma has a faint fruity hint, even peachy?! Almost clear yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a little paper at first, turns more fruity after a while, a bit citric. There is some yeast mouthfeel, but not much yeast flavour, more like chalk or dust.
