pivnizub (3481), Porúří, Germany May 22, 2008 Bottle (donated by Quack-Duck !): Pale golden, bigger fluffy white head; pale malt, straw and almosr t aromatic hops in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, soft MF; dry lingering bitter finish, supported by distinctive traces of sweet pale malt. Clean, not bad....... Slayer85 (419), Firenze, Italy Aug 3, 2007 Draught. This beer has a not so inviting very pale yellow colour, with a medium head. The aroma is lightly malty with a touch of herbal hops. Quite weak. The flavour has light/medium bitterness and the finish is dry. Quite light body. An average German pilsner. Quack-Duck (1575), Bodensee, Germany Jul 21, 2007 bottle. Golden yellow, large head. Fruity and hoppy with hints of buttermilk. Has its very own character, which I like very much. Not bitter, but pleasantly hoppy. MoritzF (3577), Ruhrpott, Germany Jan 15, 2007 (33cl bottle, traded with quack-duck) Clear, yellow colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Quite shy aroma of herbal hops with a tinge of malt in the background, also minimal skunky. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Starts herbal hoppy right from the beginning on a soft malty base; dry and moderately bitter finish. Still okay, but they should better concentrate on their Weizenbeers. joemacaluso (119), Prairieville, Louisiana, USA Jan 5, 2005 Not a huge pils fan, seemed classic in style and was fresh. But I am not a huge pils fan. Seems not to be the brewery’s specialty, but not bad. But when in this area why would you drink anything other than their weissbier.
