2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Gr0ve (2040) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 21, 2009
330 ml can. Honey-like amber colour. Slightly hazy, but mostly clear. Tall fine-laced creamy head that clings to the glass. Papery dry aroma with a weak malty edge. Watery flavours. Slightly nutty. Tin can flavours. Smooth texture with very fine carbonation. Finishes with a light dry hop bitterness. The sample is perhaps a little old, but the beer is a little off as it is papery and nutty methinks. Not bad, but not particularly complex
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 visionthing (1727) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 29, 2012
25cl bottle at the Grandmasters, Valletta. Pours deep golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some hops and something strange. Surprisingly flavourful and medium to light body. Quite pleasant and better than the usual stufff. A bit harsh bitterness in the finish. Not bad, clearly one of the best local beers we tried on Malta. (2012-09-23)
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 2, 2003
Slightly hazy orangey/amber color. Light chocolate in the nose, but little of anything else. Nice bitterness in the body but lacking anything else definitive.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Brandman (1456) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 14, 2010
Copper body with white head. Sweet bready aroma, some butterscotch. Flavour has nuts and sweet malt in it. Palate is sharp, but not with hops bitterness. Dull beer.

Nitrokeg at the Red Lion, Qawra, Malta. Typical nitrokeg, poured with large flat creamy head. Very light in colour! Almost a pils yellow! Has the recipe changed since previous ratings? Served far too cold for an ale so I couldnt taste much. Definitely a mild. The next time I try it I won’t be in such a hurry and will give it time to warm up.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ElDesmadre (999) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 29, 2013
Tap from nitro KEG at Fat Harry’s, Bugibba. Mild, smooth, creamy beer. Biscuits, some caramel, fruity and nutty notes. Light body, crisp, quaffable. Light bitterness. The tap version is slightly better than the bottled/canned one. I’ve drunk a lot of that beer and already miss it.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 CamdenD (980) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 27, 2004
The most drinkable beer in Malta. This mild beer goes down easy, especially at about $.50 a bottle. It did make me laugh when someone told me this was a "good, strong beer."

Mild?! Pensavo fosse una strong tipo ceres, da quanto sapeva di alcool... leggo ora che fa 3,3 gradi. Tanto basta

Nice dark amber pour with an off white head. True to its style it is mild in aroma and flavor, a little bit of malt not much else. Not sure if it is the beer or the style but a pretty forgettable beer.
