2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Normal tykkelse.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma - there is a small amount of chocolate and a little tinge of roast
Appearance - very dark brown/black body; liquid is opaque; the head is about 1" and a nice tan/brown color; lacing is a silky stocking
Taste - the taste is sort of like chocolate malt and a cracker jack like caramel, mild, yet nice. A very much subdued roast, it’s nearly negligible; there is a little of that Chocolate Cow about it as well.
Palate - body is medium; texture is slightly thick and a little creamy as well; the carbonation is soft, bordering on flat; the finish is kind of like a chocolate milk.

DWG; Bottle gift from mom. Thx mom. Pours dark brown with lacing, tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, caramell and fruity with hint of chocolate. Taste is less, adding metallic. Medium body, thin, sticky texture. Finish is sweet, roasty metallic.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2013 Biggest drawback is the flatness. Flavor is great - caramel and chocolate with sweet cream notes.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a black color with no head to speak of. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, and a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of malt, some dark fruit, bit of caramel with a hint of chocolate. Very light bitterness and a pretty dry finish. Light body, smooth, but short on character. Decent beer but not what I look for in a Stout.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Serving: from bottle--purchased at The Beer Junction.
Aroma: light apple, wood, grape.
Appearance: very small, rocky, light brown initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark-brown body.
Taste: lightly sweet, clove, vanilla, apple initial flavor and lightly sweet, chocolate finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, thin, watery texture and flat carbonation.
Overall: below average. The aroma was interesting, but the taste was strange and the palate was terrible-really watery, thin and flat.

0.25 l bottle from Valetta, Malta... Clody black color, standard head and full body... Mild and light smokey stout aroma of caramel. Little bit watery... Standard stout, little bit boring, nothing special... Mild ending...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Espresso in colour and in froth. Aroma of corn syrup, maple syrup and Karamalz. The flavour has caramel, molasses, malt and not too much of a roasted tone and little bitterness. In spite of the near cloying sweetness, it is light/thin on the palate, with a lean milk touch on the tongue. Happy to have the opportunity of trying this classic. The positive rating goes for the resilience of the product & brand. Not at all comparable to the great Mackeson Stout. This is more like one of the brown Baltic Porters. I’d be happy to have it on my pancakes. ON THAT NOTE: Today I tried the famous BUTTERBEER at Hogsmead village (Harry Potter stories) at the Islands of Adventure park in Orlando, FL. This was a great experience, with an utterly sweet (butterscotch soda) cold drink with a creamy head (made of real cream). It is a great drink, very refreshing and nutritious. Petty that we rate alcohol free beer but we cannot rate other drinks such as Braunschweiger Mumme or Butterbeer here in this site. I’d love to read the opinions.
