Weird beer. Bottle. Pours almost black with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel, some light malt. Flavor is sweet, lightly roasted malt, lots of caramel, light toffee, slightly tart. Very sweet; low bitterness. Thin mouthfeel yet creamy.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from a kiosk in Rabat, Malta. Pours very dark brown, almost black, with a brown head. Lightly roasted malt aroma with fruits and hints of sour milk. Sweet and mildly roasty with hints of bitterness in the finish. Ok, and easy to drink. Far from the worst beer from Malta. (2012-09-24)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from a 11.2oz brown bottle into a Willybecher glass. It poured an opaque black color, tinted red at the edges, with sudsy brown foam and lace. Aromas of sweet malt, caramelized brown sugar, roasted barley, chocolate milk, raisin bread. Smooth and creamy flavor, fruity, dark malt sweetness with extremely low hops balance. Light body and carbonation, thin mouthfeel, low gravity. Overall, weird and slightly watery, but nonetheless tasty and interesting. Reminded me a little of kvass.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours black, with a rough, dark, tan head...
Extremely large bubbles...very different looking.
Scent is slight oatmeal...milk...
Taste is chocolate milk and cream...
Incredibly light...the milk really comes through in taste and texture.
This would be a great breakfast beer, or "hair of the dog" remedy.
Very light and weak....but, I liked it ..a lot..
nice little beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance was clear black with creamy diminishing tan 1 finger head, no lacing. Aromas where sweet biscuity chocolate malts, hops and yeasts are subtle but earthy spice. Taste was simliar to taste with chocolate, slight fig and dates, but mostly chocolate. Palate is simple light smooth CO2 with light-medium body. A easy average length finish. To simple and thin...

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma of red grape, light roastiness and chocolate. Appearance is black with mocha head. Flavor has some fruit, some chocolate but is overall very odd. Palate is creamy. Strange and unpleasant.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Opaque black with a light brown head and light spotty lace. The taste begins like a typical malty stout, but makes a bad turn into a chalky overly sweet mess. Big flavor, not at all appealing.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This is the worst stout I’ve ever tried, and I usually enjoy this style. I think its popularity is mostly due to folks like us trying to add a rating from another obscure country. (I admit to trying a boring lager only because it was from Kenya, but it wasn’t as bad as this). 11.2 oz bottle pours an opague dark brown/black with a small tan head but good lacing. Aroma is of sour milk, malts, caramel and artificial sweetener. Texture and ABV are too thin for a stout. Not much carbonation either. It got better as it warmed up, but I won’t try this one again.
