Bottled. RBESG. Amber colour, off-white head. Classic Doppelbock with the significant characteristics, that are almondy sweetness. Very clean and not ûber complex.

Another superstrong lager, you know them by the ..ator name. The alcohol is shining through here, though there is a fine maltiness that is overpowered.

Bottle at RBESG 2007. Sickly strong malt aroma. Decent hop. Nice bock actually which rather won me over.

(RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Amber color, offwhite head. Malty aroma. Ok malty flavor but with alittle too much alcohol.

A Mes rate: Bottle at RBESG. Translucent chestnut colour with a pretty well behaved head. Tasty and clean with plenty of alcohol showing but it really works unlike a lot of German bottled beers. Malty and fruity with some delicate hoppage way down underneath. Luxurious mouthfeel. Very good stuff.

Draft. A hazy amber-brown beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol and berries. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of berries, and lighter notes of alcohol. Nice

Bottle from ? Aroma hits you with sweet malts, a bit buttery and notable sweetcorn. Taste is similar again very noteable corn. Tries it best to be balanced and alcohol is very well hidden.
