Bottle. Golden coloured with a frothy white head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of sweetish malt, honey and grassy hops. Flavour was sweet, with some apricot fruit and a slightly spicy hop finish. Pretty good.

On tap at Fässla in Bamberg. Golden with a nice head. The aroma is fruity and hoppy with notes of straw and newly harvested hay. The flavour has nice hoppy notes with flower, fruit and newly harvested hay and a smooth touch of caramel. It’s very charming - and the atmosphere adds to the overall impression.

MoritzF (8726) - looking for a flat around Munich, GERMANY - FEB 25, 2008
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, lacey foamy white head. Fresh herbal, slightly lemony hops aroma with a moderate malty sweetness. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, crispy on the tongue. Soft grainy malty taste with fruity and herbal hoppy accents; moderately dry, sweet and slightly bitter malt-accented finish with a delicate but also aromatic hops character (25.02.08).

Ernest (6746) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 14, 2008
Bottle (BB Feb/08), Bamberg. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is clear light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The aroma is tainted a bit by the DMS, but otherwise it’s pretty good.

Bottled. A clear deep golden beer with a small and fast disappearing white head. Flowery hoppy nose with some malt. very dry with a good hopping and medium to high bitterness. Maybe the body is too much thin, but it doesn’t matter to me. Another good beer from Bamberg.

Light yellow colored, little white head. Lemony pils aroma with standard German hops. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also crispily hopped with good German fruity touch. Aftertaste is very strongly hopped. Rather one-dimensional, still I’m fan of these pilseners.

Aroma is slightly grainy, honey, tree bark, grassy hop with a small hint of baked bean. Taste is a good mixture of malts, balanced honey, grainy sweetness with grassy and hints of peppery hop. Dry finish.

A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty - a bit on the light side both flavor and body wise.

Clear golden color, creamy vanishing white head. Lemony hoppy nose. Apples, lemon in the flavor. Interesting white wineous pils. Some grassy hops in the finish.

On tap @ the brewery. Aroma is skunky hoppy with a hint of butter. Clear, yellow coloured with a white, thin head. Taste is a bit sweet, slightly bitter with hops in it.
