Bottled. Clear yellow coloured with a small white head. Aroma of malts, corn and hops with fruity notes. Flavour of hops with notes of fruits and malts.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale pilsener golden with a pretty, white head. Very malty nose. Good solid body and an incredibly clear and pure flavour of malt. Dry, hoppy finish. Well crafted beer. 011005

Light hoppy nose, with a sublte malt background. Clear yellow body, with a small white head. Hoppy flavor, light malty, ends on a decent bitter note.

Bottle: Pale golden, mid-sized firm, lasting head, a bit hazy; very shy nose: traces of hops, malts and cardboard too; very soft sweetish start;quite full bodied; nearly no aromatic hops detectable in the soft, sweetish-malty finish; more a quite good Hell than a true Pils........

JorisPPattyn (8035) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2005
Draught Fully celar gold; small, very fast dwindling transparant white head. Sweet, very malty nose, nearly honey-ish. Estery! Dry-opening Pilsner with (very) far away hops, discreetly German. Light but with a certain grist-body. Feels more bodied than I estimate it probably. Not very outstanding. Good but nowhere outstanding. Less hoppy character than the Lager!

bierkoning (10563) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - SEP 17, 2005
Light peacharoma. Light malty, peachy flavor. A more noticeable hopbitterness, especially unvealing itself in the aftertaste. Hints of metal.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour. Big white head. A bit spicy smell, smell of grass too. Malty smell as well. Low in carbonation. Smooth balanced taste. Not very bitter for a pilsener. You get some bitternees in the aftertaste. This is a beer i like.

Indra (2663) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - NOV 1, 2004
On draught at Fässla. Full-on fresh hop aroma, so peppery and spicy that it must be Saaz, but also lightly floral and perfumed. Light-medium golden yellow color with a white, creamy head. Flavor is primarily a hop fest, bitter, spicy and dry, lending a welcomely refreshing effect. Finish features a burst of hop flavor and bitterness. Body is light-medium. Very nicely done Pils, quenching and flavorful.

rauchbier (3634) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2004
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2004 Tap, at the brewery. Gold, moderate but thinning white head and gentle condition. Sweet malt and low pilsner type hoppiness in the nose, more pleasant sweetness in the mouth with a touch of hop flavour and bitterness developing. Well balanced grain and hop bitterness in the finish.

jonas (5847) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2006 Sampled from tap at Fässla. Low level pils aroma, but mostly malt as in a Helles. Pale golden low carbonation, low white creamy head. Malty base, a bit papery cookie malt, and light bitterhop aftertaste. Medium body. Aceptable fresh, average pils otherwise.
