Draught @ the brewery. Clean, crisp, bready, somewhat sweet... like sweet honey bread. Long bitterness in the aftertaste. Flowery.

On tap at Fassla.
Appearance : Clear yellow with some lacing.
Aroma : Nice malt with slightly citrusy hops. Very fresh.
Taste : Malt and hops. Finish slightly bitter and grainy.
Overall : A little bit watery. Not bad but nothing out of the ordinary. I hink the helles lager I had right before was a bit better but both were a bit boring.

Strong yellow color. Smell fruity sourish, slight hop aroma. Starts pleasantly grainy-hoppy, slightly sweet. Hoppy-bitter aftertaste.

Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask: Clear golden colour, with a big white head. Aroma is malty, dust, citric and a nice dry fruity/bitter ending. Flavor is almost the same, thin body, short to medium bitter finish.

diabel (1590) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - AUG 1, 2006
On tap at the brewery. Frothy, white head, which diminishes mostly. Clear, yellow body. Aroma of light hops. Lightly bitter initial flavour, moderately bitter finish. Nice, refreshing pilsener, but not fancy or superinteresting.

Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - OCT 2, 2005
Light hoppy nose, with a sublte malt background. Clear yellow body, with a small white head. Hoppy flavor, light malty, ends on a decent bitter note.

Tap@Brewpub. Has those sulphur notes in the aroma, probable from the hop, you find in many German lagers. The beer isn’t bad but way too sweet for a Pils. Which made the first full sips OK, but made it hard to finish the .5L glass.

ogreface (1331) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 7, 2011

Being in the town of ridiculously over-the-top beers made according to arcane and bizarre traditions, I didn’t expect to find a really good pilsener. But this is just a beautiful, soft, round, honeyish, then herbally bitter pils that might as well have come from the czech republic, if not for the green tinge in the colour that good german pilseners have.

henrikb (1257) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2008
Draft - Beautiful slightly pale golden body, lots of sparkle, white head; Very plain malt aroma; Big sparkle in pleasant but innocent body; malt bitter long finish very slight sour touch.
