Impressions from the schwemm:
-A ring of foam stands above the transparent, aqueous golden.
-Dry hay and herbal supporting hops make up most of the flavor profile.
-Very clean, watery, and frail-bodied, just too light and characterless for my tastes in pilsner.
-Aroma and flavor are consequential, no surprises here.
-Herbal hop bitterness lingers amicably.
-Tiny, spritzy bubbles can’t revive this serviceable, but too-easy-for-the-region pils.

On tap at the brewery.

Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 17-06-10 had this at the site of the recently closed local Maisel’s brewery. Pours clean gold in colour with a white head that departs swiftly. Some sweetness in mouth a little thin on first taste but its ok. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.2

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, tap at Fassla post breakfast, 25/01/14. Clear golden with a moderately appointed white covering that retains well. Nose is pale malts, light citrus, grassy straw vibes. Taste comprises lemon rind, cereals, clean, pale malts, straw. Medium bodied, moderte carbonation, clean finish. Decent enough pils.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2013 500ml bottle. Slim-headed brilliant gold. Fizz, honey, peanut, boiled corn aroma becoming grassy. Grassy with hints of dried curry leaf, popcorn, bread stick, monkey nut. Ultimately an aromatic, clipped, new-mown lagerdom reigns. Peanut and Butterkist if you go digging. Fine lager and another winner from the polystyrene-chipped, partitioned Beermerchants box of joy.
