On tap at the Fässla. Pours a dark golden yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aromas of grains, grass, floral hops. Flavors of cheerios, with a nice hop finish.

Tap@Brewpub. Much like the Gold-Pils but with less hops, a bit lighter and less hoppy. The last thing makes me wonder why I liked it a bit better. Still a boring beer.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and yeasty notes. Flavour was sweet and malty and had caramel, hops and peachy notes.

50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear copper with a small white head. Sweet notes of grain, caramel, fresh hay and hops. Taste is sweet of bread, caramel and hayish malts. Medium and smooth body. Diacetyl perhaps - but tasty and quaffable.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, grain, some caramel and other strange sweet notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild diacetylic notes

Light dull copper. Has a bland butter/caramel aroma. Light caramel taste, a bit sweet in the finish. Not really all that worthwhile to begin with and the diacetyl doesn’t help.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2009
Draft at brewery. Coppery-gold with thick, lasting white head. Sweet, slightly metallic aroma has a hint of diacetyl. The slick mouthfeel also signals diacetyl, which I taste too but is in controlled portions. Actually the beer grows on me. Hop character comes out as it warms.
