(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of herbal hops and grain, with light notes of honey and a hint of characteristic butter. flavour is the same, mostly on the grainy side of things, with a herbal-hoppy semi-bitter finish, quite clean. medium chewy body with average carbonation. can be quite a butter bomb on tap, but fine from the botte.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
I most of received a bad one, as this was the second to last beer of my Bamberg birthday bash and I found this to be the worst as well. This smells bad of rancid butter and milk, or rancid buttermilk. Flavorwise it was much of the same. Tons of funk. The finish is the only thing that makes this beer tolerable.

Tap@Brewpub. Much like the Gold-Pils but with less hops, a bit lighter and less hoppy. The last thing makes me wonder why I liked it a bit better. Still a boring beer.
