Bottle at our appartment rental in Bamberg. Clear gold pour with white head. Light sweet honey-nut aroma, light floral notes, grainy. Taste is sweet, nutty, hazelnuts, tastes a bit old and not top shape. Too bad, still quite drinkable though.

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Draft at Fassla. Bright golden orange colour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sileage, grassy hop, somewhat stale hop. Some wort in the nose as well. Flavour follows, grassy fermenting grass. Dirty rough bitterness rounds it out. Not a big fan of this.

Draft at Fassla - Bamberg. Pouors clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely stuff, lots of tasty, lightly toasted cereals, hints of caramelised sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with nice, crunchy cereal character. Lovely and very drinkable.

Bamberg Bash Day 2. On tap at the Brewpub come comfortable hotel. Clear gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate with mild minerally carbonation. Smooth malt but rich and a little creamy. Whisper of vanilla (think Colin dug this out and then of course, as soon as he said it, it was obvious). Very light touch of hops. Finishes lightly crisp. Nice.
