2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2009 500ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) - shared with oh6gdx, TBone, and MJS - thanks!
Slightly eggy aroma, a touch offputting. Pale hazy orange. Fizzy palate. Slight wheaty taste, not so big, watery in part. Finish pleasantly hopped, saves it from a fizzy 2 in the palate, but otherwise thin and boring. And too fizzy.

[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember some typical bamberg german flavor of banana, hospital and true wheat. Good!

Thank you, Beerbiker!
Pours lightly muddy yellow with a small, creamy, white, film head. Pleasant banana aroma, some citric notes and coriander. Light mouthfeel, slightly watery, medium carbonation. Flavour is sweet, good banana and subdued coriander. Actually smells like a wit, tastes like a hefe.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at brewery.
This was a standard bavarian hefeweizen. Nothing really spectacular. Well made and clean, but nothing distinctive.
