Botle. Light banana/clove aroma. Yellow color with some cloudiness but not as much as most Hefes. Crisp flavor with high carbonation but banana and clove flavor not very strong. Nice palate though. Fairly mild Hefe - nothing special.

Bottle, at the brewery tap. Hazy lemon, good fluffy white head and good condition. Big banana ester aromas and gentle wheatiness in the nose. Low cloves initially in the nose then sweet banana notes dominating. Gentle sweet cloves and pleasant, almost hoppy, bitterness in the finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brewed in Bamberg influenced me to buy it, but it seemed very ordinary. Light yellow with white head. I found it very bananery, but with no counterbalancing features. A bit watery and thin. Perhaps the yeast used is more simple than the Southern Bavarian classics. I’m afraid I agree with the Erdinger compazrison.

Sampled at Fässla
Unimpressive aroma, or at least it did not register over the cigarette smoke.
Pale cloudy yellow, creamy white head
Mapkin malt, almost no banana but
light lemony notes, (somehow this does not fit a german hefe).
Herbal flavors retronasal.
Watered down hefeweizen.

Hazy. Ordinary wheat. A bit similat to some of the mass produced wheat beers from Erdinger and Franziskaner.
