3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Fassla, Bamberg. Chestnut brown with white head. Another malt dominated, sweetish beer but this time with a darker roasted character. Fruity and smooth with hints of caramel. It’s ok.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Ealing Beer Festival.
Dirty brown colour with a thin off white head. Sweet and fruity with some tobacco. Diacetyl and caramel are rather too clear. Very sweet... erm... NEXT!

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Fässla in Bamberg. Beautiful, red-brow with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and light citrus. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt and caramel followed by a "quiet" phase before some long lasting grapefruit turns up. IMO at bit monotone and off balance.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark brown colored with slight red hints. Medium sized light brown head. Sweet, caramelly, strongly hopped, still surprisingly thin aromated. Medium bodied. Flavor is better with starting caramel and sweet fruits, ending dries with bitter and floral touch, mild licorice also in aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Deep reddish colour with mediumsized beige head. ARoma is fruits, nectar and slight hints of glue. Flavour is very much the same. Quite weird brew for being German, but still quite pleasant and drinkable.
