Flaske kjøpt i går av Odd Gunnar, delt med RBHD-guttene juni-13: gylden med fint hvitt skum. Aroma av gammelt innestengt klesskap og våt ull. Desverre drar smaken i den retningen også. Rare greier som ikke passerte den ultimate testen (en kraftig rap).

Bottle, Thanx to Mr.Rask: Clear red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is grassy,sweet maltynes,Iron,dry hopy bitter finish. Flavor is thin malty mouthfeeling,short dry bitter finish.

Frag’ mich, was das für ein Typ Bier ist. Schmeckt im Großen und Ganzen nach ’nem Dunkel - aber ist mit 6% schon recht stark..... Im Antrunk ist es etwas säuerlich. Im Hauptteil folgt eine muffig-komische Note, Süffigkeit ist für mich nicht zu erkennen. Im Nachgeschmack ist es erdig-trocken. --> überhaupt nicht mein Fall! Auch schmeckt man, dass es etwas mehr %e hat als ein normales Dunkel! PS: Hab’ aus Verzweifelung dazu ein Hanuta gegessen (was ich sonst bei Bier überhaupt nicht mag) --> passt super gut dazu!!

Draught at Brauerei Fassla, Bamberg, Germany. An amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, malty aroma. Tastes malty, caramel, dark fruit.

Pours medium brown with nice light beige head. Aroma is sweet, nutty , smoky. Taste is mildly bitter, roast grains. Smooth and drinkable, nice mouthfeel and aftertaste. Good one from Bamberg.

Dark reddish color with a thin off-white head, Aroma is roast malt hints slightly sweet. Flavor is sweet caramel with some bitterness at end.Mouthfeel is short and quite metallic bitterness.

At the brewery tap. Creamy, light brown head. Virtually no lace. Fully lasting head. Clear, amber to brown body. Aroma of smoke and light malts. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Lightly bodied. Soft carbonation. This is a weird beer. Looks like a mixture between a Rauchbier and a Dunkel, but neither the Dunkel, neither the Rauchbier aspects are very convincing nor well pronounced.

Bottle from Beerbikers Svoger, my evil stepdad. Clear brown with medium white head. Aroma of mild sweetmalts some caramel and some mild toasted notes. Flavor is again sweet malty with some fruity notes and a grassy hob bitterness.
