Not much Belgian going on here. This is a pretty straight forward blonde with a weird aftertaste. Not great.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Bearden Beer Market. Bright yellow, with a thin white head. Surprisingly hoppy, piney aroma. Taste is toasty, bready, then a grassy, piney hops. I did not detect much "Belgian" character, to be honest...

Pint on tap. Hazy golden pear color with a ring of bubbles. Nose is resin, honey, clove and orange. Tastes of orange zest, resin, honey, spicy clove and some dry wheat on the finish. LIght-medium body has medium-high carbonation and leans to the dry side.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint at the brewery. Cloudy gold color. Decent session Belgian offering. We got banana and clove in a resasonable balance. The finish is a little spiced, semi sweet with dry twinges. Some vegetal notes are in the mix. Fair.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This might be the first beer from Fat Bottom that I’ve found drinkable. It’s quite simply, but still refreshing on this hot day. Verrrrry cloudy with flavors of honey, Belgian yeast, and sweet pale malt.

Melon Orange pour with no head. Very little carbonation. Immediately struck by the full creamy mouth-feel. Lightly sweet and light Belgian yeast. Nothing powerful in the flavor. Easy drinking Belgian gold. Unique mouth-feel.
