Cask conditioned at The Fat Cat, Norwich. Golden with white head. The Fat Cat, what a pub, and yes this fits in very nicely. A good, spicy, session bitter with a slightly thinnish palate, decently bitter and with biscuity malts. A good bitter, much enjoyed.

Cask - Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured amber with a creamy, lasting & lacing off-white head. Some almond with caramel and toasty malts, a bit of mid fruit and finally developing a light sulphurous tone. Quite nutty and toasty up front with some mid fruit sweetness, finishing with an OK dry grassy bitterness. Medium body, softish palate texture and a medium length finish.

36 Pint box thing, Guy’s wedding reception, Swainsthorpe, Norfolk.
It was all about the top cat really on this day, but this was definitely not without some merit. Healthy dose of citrus and hop made this well balanced and totally drinkable. Worth another look.
