Cask; Regular.
NOTE: A new recipe from late 2010 - hops changed from Casacde & Goldings and continental malts omitted.

A pale gold bitter, with a distinct floral, spicy aroma from Sybilla and Pilgrim hops. The subtle blend of classic English pale malts gives a distinctive taste, which blends well with the hop bitterness to give a spicy, yet well-balanced flavour.

Cask At Fat Cat brewery tap Norwich. Clear gold lasting white head. Golden bitter. Quite fruity like fruit salad chews. Quite a dry bitter. Very dry finish. OK malt hop mix.

Had this as part of the ale trail at the yacht club. Pours very light golden almost watery appearance with a taste to follow. Easy drinking but immediately forgettable

Cask (Fat Cat, Norwich) (6:3:6:3+:12+=3.0++)
Light bitter, gently malty, just a hint of bitter hops. Both aroma and taste. And finish. Soft palate, carbonation low, but nice and malty and refreshing. Finish sweet palae malts, and milky. Serviceable bitter.

Cask @ Fat Cat. Golden brown, good head. Grain malt aroma. Big grassy caramel malt hop flavour. Bitter aftertaste. This is a really good bitter.

Fat Cat & Canary, Norwich. Sweet and easy drinking with a pleasant rasp of hops. This is sugary and juicy with notes of honey. Very yummy.

Cask conditioned handpump Wig & Pen Northampton 04/07/12. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. A bit grassy in the nose. Clean and crisp in the mouth. A touch of lemon. Very plain but easily quaffed and sessionable.

Cask - The Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich. Since it’s a new recipe I felt compelled to retry it. Fine and disappearing white head, clear golden amber body. Some yeasty sulphur on the nose with marmalade and lemon rind. Good biscuity flavour profile with light backing grassy hop tones and underlying sulphur notes. Caramel sweetness throughout. Shortish length grassy, pithy lemon, marmalade finish, light body, delicate carbonation. Still a fine quaffing bitter but no great shakes.
