Cask@The Fat Cat Pub, Norwich. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, floral hops and some mild wooden notes. Flavour is wood, mild honey, sweet malts as well as some bitterness. Could have a bit more honey, as it was extremely mild sweet traces of it only.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2009
Not much of a head on this one, and what there was ran away quite quickly. The aroma was indeed that of honey, and the colour was a cloudy amber. Taste was not at all sweet, leaning more toward the malt side of things, with some hopped bitterness in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is decent. A drinkable beer, but by no means a remarkable or even a particularly good beer.

650ml bomber from a BIF :
Poured a dark gold with a smallish cap that didn’t last well.
Aromas are a tad flat, mostly grains sweetness and some must. Flavor is malty-sweet, some floral a bit of grass and a wet malty sweet finish.
Not really my type of honey beer but I suspect this sample was on the shelf a while.

Sweet raspberry honey aroma. Somewhat hazy yellow. Consistent honey character, light malts.

Bottle, courtesy matta. Pours deep gold with copper core and off white head. The aroma is honey and malt sweetness followed by infected bottle acidity and tartness. The taste is both honey sweet and malty sweet followed by tart acidity as noted in the nose. But the tartness is milder than the nose hinted at. Toward the finish I also get a metal note. Not so good.

courtesy of matta with an A.
Pours hazy golden, with white lacing.
Aroma is hoppy with a syrupy / honey nose.
Taste has some faint notes of honey with high carbonation and a thick mouthfeel.
Sweet with plenty of honey. Good but nothing spectacular.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 gunhaver (1030) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 8, 2009
Bottle, courtesy MattA. Pours a golden hue, with wet lacing and a creamy head. Honey nose, dry hops, some brown sugar. Flavor is a bit infected, with honey and biscuit. Kind of plain and just not that good. Crisp, hard to stomach overall.

Pear, orange rind in nose, some honey in background. Pop-like, lots of apple juice notes, thick but flat body. Plain, not much aftertaste to speak of. Not bad.

Thanks to Mike and Jason for bringing. Honey colour with big head. Above average carbonation and mediuym mouthfeel. Pleasant honey aroma, like a mead.
