COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fat Cat Lager is handcrafted in the time-honored Bavarian tradition and is a classic Vienna lager. The amber-colored brew has a subtle aroma and crisp, mildly bitter taste. Fat Cat Lager is made with Brewer’s two-row malt, carapils malt, caramel malt and domestic hops. Fat Cat Lager has a malty, toasty aroma with just a hint of noble hops in a drying finish.

Copper orange color, thick white head that diminishes about as fast as the beer goes down. Sweet, carmel malt smell with a similar taste. Finish leaves you wondering. Overall for the price (8 dollars per 12 cans) this beer is pretty solid, not to mention the unique can. "This cat is fat!"

pours orange with a large white head because my bro dropped our case. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor is really sweet. Maybe corn and sugar with a strange finish. Strangly enjoyable.

12 ounce can from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, rated 4/29/10. Pours a clear golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, caramel and grainy notes. The taste is grassy hops, toasted grain and a slightly metallic note. Thin-medium bodied.

Caramel-orange color with an off-white head that falls to a film after a few minutes. Largely bland toasted grain and light toffee nose. Light-to-moderately sweet flavor with some mild yeasty sourness. Toasted bread, light caramel, sourdough yeast and sour, wet & icky grains. Appearance is only redeeming quality. Retro can with the cigar smoking cat is pretty cool.

Can pours golden-orange with a creamy off-white head. Aroma shows caramel, stale cereal, and slight herbal note. Flavor shows the same. Starts sweet and finishes dry on some very muted hops. Nothing exciting but I would still drink this over plenty of macro-brews.

Pours amber with nice white head. Aroma of nail polish remover. Carmel malt-grainy flavor. Paid $8.50 for 12pk @ Woodman’s in Kenosha. Not the worst offering by Minhas by far (i.e. Clear Creek Ice).

This is under rated. Not sure about those of you that said it poured a "clear gold". Mine poured a thick golden copper color with an off-white cream head. Very lovely. Aroma of overly sweet caramel and overly ripe fruit. Abundant presence of hops, light presence of malt. Decent bitter after-taste. I remember seeing this while on a tour of the Minnesota Brewing Company in Saint Paul about 10 years ago. Not sure how it ended up with Minhas. Anyone know the alcohol content? I paid $7.49 for a 12 pack. Worth every cent!

Can. Bought this one primarily for the can collection. Don’t remember much other than it was drinkable. Nothing special.

[Can] shared by KAF. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is corn syrup, malt, and just a little hops. Flavor is slight. Corn syrup, no bitterness, and lots of sweetness with a medium mouthfeel. Short to no finish.

Actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I got a lot of caramel notes in the finish with an overall decent malt character. Still not very good but way better than I thought it would be.
