3.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 sickassmick (213) - Concord, California, USA - DEC 1, 2007
if somebody knows where to get this email me delriousclick@yahoo.com.... This stuff used to be 7 bucks a 12pk at bevmo... the can is cool the pour is dark the flavor is, well, better than bud. And I miss it. This was an all time favorite of everybody i knew... for the price specifically. I’d love to have one I’m only speaking on memories.
that cat is fat!
3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 celogan (200) - Oroville, California, USA - AUG 21, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2003 OK Just to set the record straight, Fat Cat is no longer brewed by MN Brewing since they are out of business. The liquor stor clerk said it was now made in Chicago, but on the can it says Brewed and Canned by MDI, Monroe, WI. If you dig around on the internet, you may find as I have, that the only brewer in Monroe is Huber. UPDATE: This has been Verified By Huber, yes they do contract brew it. I don't know who ownes FC but here's the rating.
It IS pretty decent beer for cheap stuff. Poured with a nice orange hue and good head which didn't last lont. Not much lacing to speak of. Good carbonation and mouth feel. Not complex by any means but far better than the BMC swill. At 6.99 on sale you can't go wrong. Don't think just because it is in a can that it's crap. It isn't crap, It Isn't Great, but it is fairly good for what you pay for it.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 scanman (149) - Santa Cruz, California, USA - OCT 8, 2011
This seems okay with a pretty flavorful initial taste. Enjoy the sweetness, but I wish there was more bite.
2.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 locarboy (123) - USA - JUL 7, 2009
Pours amber with nice white head. Aroma of nail polish remover. Carmel malt-grainy flavor. Paid $8.50 for 12pk @ Woodman’s in Kenosha. Not the worst offering by Minhas by far (i.e. Clear Creek Ice).

I myself have suffered through a 12er of Fat Cat with Funk and the Iceman, it tastes EXACTLY like a 2.99 12 pack, all I can say is that its an experience and one you will not forget quickly--despite how many beers you drink afterwards.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 steve1966 (75) - Florida, USA - JAN 19, 2012
The cat is where its at nice surprise...not your average American Lager....nice color to it. Taste somewhere between a decent Octoberfest and Anchor Steam. Has a little bite to the taste. Would seek this one out again/
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20 bigtasty (23) - USA - MAY 7, 2006
Man, what a beer. It was a really good time during that short period of time that I could get it.
I drank a twelver of it and then couldn’t get it anymore.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 urnes011 (16) - Minneapolis, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Copper orange color, thick white head that diminishes about as fast as the beer goes down. Sweet, carmel malt smell with a similar taste. Finish leaves you wondering. Overall for the price (8 dollars per 12 cans) this beer is pretty solid, not to mention the unique can. "This cat is fat!"
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 TrinityRoseFae (11) - san mateo, California, USA - APR 13, 2003
got it in a mystery box @ the bevMo. Not really any complaints. The nose is pleasurable. I wouldn't consider it to be a lager tho. Much more burnt orange like an ale and actually quite thick with fine particles. Don't be frieghtend by the tin can.
