COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fat Cat Lager is handcrafted in the time-honored Bavarian tradition and is a classic Vienna lager. The amber-colored brew has a subtle aroma and crisp, mildly bitter taste. Fat Cat Lager is made with Brewer’s two-row malt, carapils malt, caramel malt and domestic hops. Fat Cat Lager has a malty, toasty aroma with just a hint of noble hops in a drying finish.

got it in a mystery box @ the bevMo. Not really any complaints. The nose is pleasurable. I wouldn't consider it to be a lager tho. Much more burnt orange like an ale and actually quite thick with fine particles. Don't be frieghtend by the tin can.

Cheap swill in a funny can. I did actually taste a little hops in it though, and wasen’t totally appalled by the taste, which reminds me of the strohs I snuck from my dad on fishing trips.

For the price, a surprisingly rich brew typical of most Huber products. REminiscent of the first Augsburger I had in 1977.

While this beer may not stand up compared to ’quality’ beers, compared to other beers in it’s price category, it’s great. I typically pay $5 or $6 for a 12 pack. It also comes in the most unique can I’ve ever seen. Not willing to risk a whole $5 or $6 to sample it? Then pay $2.50, pick up a 6 pack, invite some friends over and try it out.

The only thing good about this beer is the very cool cans and the cool slightly Orange color. Other than that..it’s crap!

This beer is not perfect. This beer is .50/can though. Frankly, a lot can be forgiven at that price and to compare this to other quality beer at $1.00/bottle or more is a bit unfair. Anyway, I like it. It certainly beats most everything in its class that I can think of. By the way, the sales at ridiculously low prices were promotional, attempting to buy market share. Honestly, everyone I know that’s given this beer a try has been impressed by the taste for the money.
