Thin and a little on the sweet side, but certainly smooth and chocolatey malty. A sessionable mild that gains a silky tone. Not bad. Beautiful, highly kilned smoky mild packed with condition and cocoa, vinous fruit, earth and milky coffee back-up. Fine sweaty hop presence both in the aroma and flavour. Hopped up to the nines for style, but still unmistakably a mild. Totally hits the spot. downender (2646), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
