COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A straw-coloured ale, with a high percentage of extra-pale Marris Otter malt giving some initial light, fruity sweetness. This is counter-balanced by a generous dollop of First Gold hops, leaving you with an extremely long, dry finish and a refreshing bitterness.

[Waterloo Beer Festival, Liverpool, 2014] - Fat Cat Brewery Wild Cat, 5%, strohgelb klar. Aroma kaum wahrnehmbar: Gras, etwas Hopfen, etwas Zitrone.

Fat Cat & Canary, Norwich. Nice pale malt beer. Quite sugary sweet with a dusting of bittering hops. Decent enough, but a little too sweet for my taste, and lacking in ideas.

On cask at Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield - Hazy golden body, thin white head. Nose has a musty aroma, like damp wood, with citrus and flowers. Pot-pourri almost. Taste is light, fresh and dry at the end giving a long bitter mouth clacking finish.

Cask at The Antelope in Surbiton. Low carbonation, quite citrusey, decent beer but lacking a little something in the body. OK.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are funky with lemon and hints of honey. Flavours are sweet and sour apple with yeast and biscuit. Musty with orangrs and lemon. Not great.

On gravity at the Fat Cat. Pale amber with almost no head. Musty floral nose. Nice hops, some sweetness then lingering bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask@The Fat Cat Pub, Norwich. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some herbs, nectar and mild grassyness. Flavour iss quite similar in a pleasant balance between the floral and maltyness in the finish.

Cask @ Craft Beer Co., London. Slightly hazy yellow / orange color, small white head. Watery taste. Faint hoppy, bitter smell. Taste lightly bitter, some hops. Low carbo, low body.

Cask (gravity) - The Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured with a bubbly, doming white head atop a clear golden body. Caramel, yeast and some delicate floral, lemony notes. Much the same on the tongue with some apple lasting into the aftertaste. Light to medium body, soft mouthfeel with a short bittersweet finis. Fair but I’ve had better from the brewery.

Cask conditioned, gravity dispensed at The Fat Cat, Norwich. Gold with white head. Sharp and slightly perfumed beer with a slight cidery, apple note, late sweetness but a pretty reasonable depth and alcohol note. A decent beer.
