4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This one poured a hazy light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was big tropical fruit notes, some pine and light grain too. Slight earthy mango maybe. Flavor was big fresh tropical hop bomb, not really much mango, but an excellent ipa of course again from fatheads.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Copper color in the glass. Drinks like a double IPA which is probably why I liked it so much. The fruity mango flavor is not overwhelming. Potent citrus hop bitterness. Really nice

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango, grassy hops, garlicky hops. Flavor of garlicky and grassy hops up front, hop oils, tropical fruits, and a hint of mango. The mango is not as overpowering as I thought it might be, it really blends in with the tropical fruits. Nice IPA with an interesting twist.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at FH, 3 November 2013, not my favorite, nose is plenty of mango type smells with lots of fresh tropical notes, but the taste melds funny or i’m getting a taste of fruit rind, that sort of earthy dull gritty taste, this is served on cask in 1/2 imp. pint.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Poured cloudy copper orange color with an average to large frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex resin earthy hop and small fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks good; a slightly hazy deep golden orange with foamy white head. Smells good too; nice and hoppy with a touch of mango. Tastes like it smells, only not as robust. Good on the palate. Good, not great.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap. Moderately hazy orange golden amber color. Good thin off-white head, with great retention. Leaves great reaches of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly resiny hoppy stickiness in the finish, but it’s mostly dry. A lot of huge citra and simcoe hop character in this. Pine, grapefruit citrus, some earthy resiny hop flavors. Some tropical fruit. Mango is slightly noticeable in the nose, makes for a nice aroma, but in the flavor it’s washed out by the incredibly assertive and bitter hop character, not necessarily a bad thing. Mango or not this is a great IPA. A little bit of mango becomes noticeable again in the finish, once the big hop wave subsides (possibly only because I’m looking for it). Very big bitter taste, little to no sweetness. Awesome, big, smooth, aggressive IPA, mango or no mango.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Dutch’s shortly after tapping. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have ample tropical fruit and citrus hops with some background toasted bready malts. Mild plus bitterness to the finish. The fruits are not as dominant on the flavor with moderate bitterness to the finish. Somewhat dry. This is a solid ipa and worth seeking out.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured on draft at Fat Heads. Pours a semi-hazy copper with a beige head of foam. Good retention. Aroma is full of fruity sweetness and has notes of mild pine and grass. Taste is that tropical fruit sweetness and then moves to a dry, bitter finish. Quite tasty stuff.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2013 Sample at the tasting room, then again at Touch Supper Club for the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/18/2013. The beer is a clear pale amber-orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, resiny hops and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering melon and hops aftertaste. Good beer all around.
