Enjoyed on tap in an English pint glass. The beer pours a slightly hazy straw-colored yellow, with a moderate white head. The aroma brings notes of fresh, ripe apricot first, followed by a note of biscuity base/wheat malt. The palate follows this progression, as well; showing a pleasing, fresh, but not over-the-top note of the aforesaid fruit, followed by a more subtle, but still noticeable wheat malt note. Hops do not make their presence known throughout the beer’s consumption. The finish seems fairly clean in terms of yeast profile, and leaves a lingering note of wheat malt and fruitiness on the palate. Overall, a winner in a sea of generally mediocre examples of the style.

Sample at Fat Head’s Cleveland. Pours a clear gold with a big white head. Aroma of apricot, sweet malt and wheat. Apricot and wheat flavor with a crisp, semi-bitter finish.
