A big chocolate flavor. A light roast flavor and a nice aftertaste with chocolate and spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ Fatheads. Deep brown in color with a medium tan head that vanished quickly. Aroma and flavor runs hand and hand. Milk chocolate, ash, weak traces of bitter coffee and an herbal type flavor I can put my finger on. Medium body but leans on the thin side. Mouthfeel was a tad watery. Moderate carbonation. I donít know about this brew. Something just seemed a bit off, nothing major because I couldnít pin down what I didnít like about it. Maybe I need a return trip to Ohio to try it again, LOL.

Close to a black ipa. Chocolate aroma but very floral as well. Flavor very similar. Smooth and very tasty.

Great aroma of chocolate and dark fruits but not so much of the roasted malt Iíve come to expect. Flavor is sweet malt and fruit with a little chocolate. Mouth feel is sweet carbonation is a little above average. Overall a Solis beer and I love the aroma.

Draft pour at the source. Pours a darker brown to black with a khaki head of foam. Good retention. Aroma is sweet and brown sugary. Some burnt caramel notes come through as well. Lighter fruity notes come through in the finish. Roasty and sweet. Pretty nice overall.

Deep brownish black color with a thin light brown colored head on top. The smell of the beer was full of roasted aromas and some light sweet dark fruit notes. The taste was malty with a roasted finish and subtle bitterness. The mouthfeel was smooth and slick with a minimal carbonation to it. Overall itís a nice brew.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a black color wtih a large foamy dark tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was anise, coffee and a bit roasty - pleasant but rather faint. The flavor was anise, sweetish malts, plum, vanilla, coffee, faint toasty malts and a faint boozy presence underneath. Long finish of anise and plum. Thick and creamy body. Solid.

This poured a darker brown color with a lighter tan head. Aroma was of light roast, good amount of dark fruits, light yeast notes and some toffee. Flavor was less intense than I was expecting. Milky and a bit chalky, with chocolate, mild roast and dark burnt fruits finishing.

On tap at Fat Heads. Pours a deep dark brown color with a medium off-white head. A nose of sweet candy and chocolates. The flavor is very sweet malts, nutty, dry cocoa, loads of sweetness in the finish, milky at times. Good.
