COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our seasonal alt-fest bier is brewed stronger, aggresively hopped, and aged longer to achieve a dry, bittersweet complex flavor.

On tap at Fat Headís Portland, OR brewery at the RBSG 2015. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Nose of caramel malts, some rye, ad spice. Medium body. Flavor is a blend of rye and other spices and a light bitter finish. Darn nice. pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of rye,

On tap at the brewery in Portland, RBSG. I was pretty sure this was called "Blitzkrieg Bock", which is a more clever play on words than Blitzkrieg Alt, and would seemingly be more in keeping with a bock style at 7.2%. But whatever. Deep golden, approaching amber territory. Sweet pale malts, apple, caramel.

On tap @ Fat Heads PDX. Clear golden orange pour with white foam. Pretty bland and generic sweet beer. A lot of bread, caramel, and fruity esters. Particularly grape and some baked apple. Maybe a little bit of citrus. Pretty much no hop character at all to speak of, which is fine, I guess. But just too sweet and sugary for me.

On tap at Fat Headís, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of rye, caramel and herbal notes. Flavour is quite nice, with caramel, light herbal hops, toasted nuts and light rye. Very flavourful and well-balanced. Really nice bock.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with small white head. The aroma is grain and rye. Thin mouth, strong grain, honey, light, good.

Draft - Light grains and caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light sweet caramel and a touch of grains.

Really strong for an Alt, almost harsh alcohol flavor in the finish. complex is maybe an overstatement for this, its not that complex just bigger version of an alt. prefer sticke or #1
