Imported German malts give this fest bier a deep golden color which is balanced by imported German Noble hops. This beer is smooth and highly drinkable. Prost!

Burnt orange nose is faint. Caramel and oranges malty with old oranges and cream corn. Good but not challenging the palate.

Pours a great copper color. Little lacing. Real traditional Oktoberfest brew. Feels appropriate in a huge stein. Not too heavy. Would order again. ---all in good suds.

Bottle, courtesy of JStax - thanks! Pours a light copper color with a modest ring of sandy head. Mild aroma is light toast, herbals, and sweeter caramel malt. I dig the noble hops in the taste; a nice crisp floral and semi-spicy taste goes well with the malt base. Drinks very well in a style that is hit or miss for me. Prost!

Bottle thanks to Jstax ! Pours a rich copper color with a couple fingers of eggshell foam that falls off quickly. The nose is subtle, sweet toasted malts, a touch of grass and caramel. The palate follows with nice focus and a big malt presence but its not overly sticky. Nice refreshing kick of bubbles and bitterness helps with drinkability. Solid !

12oz bottle pours a hazy, caramel amber with some thin, white head. Nose of cracker, bread crust, carrot, orange, caramel, a little rusty metal. Flavor is decent, lots of root veg, carrot, roasted parsnip, orange, brown malt, some pumpkin, a little marshmellow. Clean finish. Solid.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of queenholly, Labeled simply as “Oktoberfest” . Dimpled mug shows a hazy amber thin a quickly vanishing white head. Light bread malt, and a hint of fruit. The main body is grainy with sweet caramel malt and a subtle fruity bitterness. Carbonation is correct giving this a creamy type texture. Simple yet respectable Marzen, easy drinking for sure.

I think I have determined that I don’t really care for this style; had a few this fall and meh - this was another; malty aroma; sweet up front with crisper finish but not much there for me.

New to the review thing. I don’t really care what it looks or smells like as much as how it tastes. Was drinking it straight from the bottle watching the game and I noticed it had a slight metal taste to it although it was minimal. IMO case is a little expensive for the taste. If it were low $30s I’d buy it again.

12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, bottled on 8/7/2013. Pours lightly hazy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of caramel, pear, apple, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of malt and yeast ester notes; and good strength. Taste of caramel, pear, apple, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, brown sugar, light pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of caramel, light fruits, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of caramel/bready malt and yeast ester flavors; with nice robustness and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy, smooth, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is very nice Oktoberfest style! All around well balanced and robust malt and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Save On. Nice copper with ring. Caramel vegetal aroma. Lots of toasted caramel overripe vegetables minerals fine carbo with slight astringency. Bitter finish more from carbo than anything noble. Not very good.
