A peachy nose with refreshingly tart, fruity flavors makes this American wheat ale a great thirst quenching summer sipper!

Sample at the brewpub. Yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of peaches and herbal wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of peaches, apricots and wheat. The finish is fruity with a peach and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Fat Headís North Olmsted on 7/18/13. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Malty and peach nose. Malty and peachy flavor with a bit of breadiness before a sweet, creamy finish.

on tap at fat heads 28th July 2012, nose is peach and apricot.. this is likely renamed the apricot wheat as there is no belgian yeast flavor present, though the tartness does remain.. definitely an awesome summer beer.

Apr 25, tap @ Flatheads, North Olmsted. Pours pretty clear golden with a nice white head leaving small lace.Peachy and malty aroma. Flavor pretty much the same. Very good hoppyness. Mouthfeel as ovrall flavor is peachy; also sourish lambic style sourness, very nice. Finish is tart bitter and peachy.

This poured a cloudy lighter orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of very sweet and fruit artificial peach extract. Flavor was slight yesty and very sweet peaches. Too sweet for my liking.

Aroma: Strong peach aroma, with hints of sweetness underneath--nectar, perhaps. Appearance: Cloudy gold with a thick head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. Taste: Heavy sweetness followed by a very mild, light sourness. Palate: Creamy texture, full body, flat carbonation but with a long, sweet finish. Overall: Solid beer. Very bright and flavorful, but not so fruity as to be obnoxious or winey. Really well balanced.

Enjoyed on tap in an English pint glass. The beer pours a slightly hazy straw-colored yellow, with a moderate white head. The aroma brings notes of fresh, ripe apricot first, followed by a note of biscuity base/wheat malt. The palate follows this progression, as well; showing a pleasing, fresh, but not over-the-top note of the aforesaid fruit, followed by a more subtle, but still noticeable wheat malt note. Hops do not make their presence known throughout the beerís consumption. The finish seems fairly clean in terms of yeast profile, and leaves a lingering note of wheat malt and fruitiness on the palate. Overall, a winner in a sea of generally mediocre examples of the style.
