COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional German styled wheat beer served unfiltered. Hazy straw colored beer that hints at banana and clove complexity as all Hefe Weizens do. This thirst quencher drinks so easy it may fog your goggles.

Cloudy dark gold. Really good banana and clove. Bright wheat backbone. Mild acidity brightened it up. Good hefe.

Draft. Hazy gold pour, white head, some retention/lace. Aroma of clove, banana, bubblegum, grass, wheat. Taste is sweet, wheat bread, clove, banana, spice. Palate is soft, creamy, sweet finish. Good.

According to my girlfriend, "tastes like blue moon". Unfortunately for her she is incorrect and poorly trained, and I feel it is partly my fault. I plan to re educate her as soon as possible. This beer is a standard beer and is fine but comes in a 20oz glass so I like it.

When I ordered this I had no idea what style of beer it would be. I was delightfully surprised to get a hefeweizen. Has the aroma and flavors of a hefeweizen with banana and clove flavors present. All in all a good but not great hefe.

A hefe done well. No need to over think this one, has a all the great qualities of a solid hefe weizen( your banana, clove, hazy appearance, etc etc.). If you see it, buy it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2014 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky orange-apricot color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was wheaty and musty with faint citrus, bread, clove and bubblegum. The flavor was wheaty and bready with notes of clove, bubblegum and orange. Long finish of bread, clove and orange. Moderately full bodied. Quite nice.

On tap at Mad Mex in Pittsburgh. Pours slightly hazy with small white head. Little thin lacing, light carbonation, and hop aroma. Taste is citrus, spicy hops. This is a wheat ale and not a hefeweizen.

Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Lookd good; yellowish-orange and hazy like a hefeweizen should. Smells of banana and clove; spicy. Tastes spicy up front with a sweet banana finish. Odd. Doesn’t really have that hefeweizen zip on the palate though. Okay.

This poured a ridiculously cloudy yellow to orange color with a white head. Nose was straight banana. some bubblegum and clove too. Flavor was much the same, just great blend of yeast, bubblegum, lots of banana and some spices. Great Great hefe.

Poured on draft. Appearance is a hazy straw color with a fluffy white head of foam. Aroma is loaded with bananas, cloves, cardamom, and freshly baked wheat bread. Banana nut bread comes to mind. Taste is initially sweet, but the traditional faint tartness makes a nice appearance in the finish. Pretty good.
