On tap at the Cleveland brewpub. Not bad,but also not that drinkable, 18 ibu. Lacey. Average mouthfeel, though expect more from the style. Carbonation and temperature is correct. Easy drinker for some, not hat interesting forme. Aroma a bit strange for style.

Had on tap at Fatheads
A-pours an extremely cloudy dark amber color with tons of dense creamy white head.
S-the nose is huge! tons of wheat, notes of earthy flowers, notes of banana and bubblegum, fair amount of clove, an abudance of dry grass and lemon in the back.
T-the bubblegum is right up front, hints of phenol in the taste, lots of wheat, banana and citrusy lemon, light spice to it with corriander and pepper, not nearly as earthy or grassy but there is a hint of these flavors in the back with a light hop bitterness.
M-it has a medium body and is quite chewy, well carbonated with a crisp finish and a little grainy on the palate. pretty spot on.
D-well balanced hefe with good flavors and a nice complexity to it. this is tasty and refreshing as the spice is light and the wheat flavors are big but both are there working together.

On tap at Fat Heads in Cleveland. Pours a light and murky yellow... almost a whitish tint to it. Big head, even in the sampler glass and aromas that are thick with banana and cloves with a little bit of a grassy edge to them. Flavor is pretty bold... lots of cloves and bananas with a sweet tutti fruitti/candi sugar side to them. Very nice stuff.

hazy golden with large white head. banana to the nose. low bitterness before a ton of banana yeasty flavors. very little clove and it comes off unbalanced in that regard, though the depth of banana is impressive
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 baraciisch (614) - USA - JUL 5, 2010
Aroma was similar to Sierra Nevada’s Keller Weiss, bananas and wheat.... Flavor was definitely less exciting, a little too rich, not as crisp and drinkable as Sierra Nevada’s version... Decent
