GTMW. Amber-orange pour. Nose is big piney grapefruit and mango. Ultra clean and fresh grapefruity pine and woody herbal hop bitterness. Solid malt backing helps this to not be too dry on the finish. An excellent IPA.

Squat bottle. Pours hazy deep golden with 3-finger off-white head that laces copiously. Nose is huge tropical fruit including tangerine, mango, melon, and black pepper. Tastes caramel malty, but the hops are the highlight; a resiny, mangoey, tangeriney, black peppery hop bite that kicks in at mid-palate. The Simcoe hops take center stage here, with the others rounding them out. This is a very good IPA.

Growler shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer appears transparent and orange in color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a pleasant citrus scent, along with some floral and tropical fruit notes.
Very tasty stuff. Really easy to drink, Fresh hop presence throughout, with various flavors melding together nicely. The beer finishes with a tangy bitterness and lingers on the palate. Alcohol presence is muted, but this beer will sneak up on you if youíre not careful. I would happily drink this again.

Great IPA! Very hoppy aroma. Body is fairly light, alcohol not noticeable, esp. for a 7.5% beer. Tropical fruit-like hop character, some medium crystal malt. Bitter, but not too. No discernible yeast character. Enjoyable--you will want another!

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2013 An onslaught of luscious tastes sail over my taste buds. This West Coast child sports sappy resin, strong bitter grapefruit as suggested in the nose, and a strong bitter aftertaste that leaves behind a solid dry spot, calling for another sip. Citrus fruits of orange and pineapple sneak in with repeated sips. Very hoppy but wonít repel the tongue with an overeager attack. A complex yet simple, straightforwardly enjoyable IPA.

12oz bottle thanks to pellegjr - thanks man! Pours copper orange with thin bright white head. Aroma is a full-on assault of tropical fruit: pineapple, grapefruit, mango, sweet mandarins - wonderful. Lots of pine resin in there too. Taste is a delicious mix of pine, grapefruit, and pineapple - pure hop hedonism. Light caramel malt notes in the background; fantastic dryness in the finish, great lasting bitterness. Cracker of an IPA.
