COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Uncivilized and aggressive this west coast styled IPA packs wicked hop flavors and aroma. Savage amounts of Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade hops define this brews signature pine and citrus notes. Try with our smoked wings in the Killer sauce and run the risk of a shrunken head!

Thanks to Eric aka spoolinvw for giving me a fresh bottle of Head Hunter. I have always had terrible luck trying to find fresh bottles of this one, glad to finally try the real deal. A - Pours clear golden orange with a nice one finger tall white head leaving light lace down parts of the glass. S - Smells of pungent citric hops, grass, tropical fruits - mostly grapefruit and oranges - pine resin and only the faintest hint of caramel sweetness. This one has once intense nose to it. T - Starts off with a ton of bright citric hop bitterness mixed with some juicy grapefruit tartness slowly giving way to hints of pine resin, grass and some mild caramel sweetness. Finish is fairly bitter, lingering on the palate for quite awhile after the finish. M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, oily feel with a ton of bitterness from start to finish. O - This is one awesome IPA. I could drink a few of these no problem. When fresh this is definitely one of the better IPAís on the market today.

Pours a dark golden color with a white head. Light body. Extremely hop forward with citrus flavors. Lots of pine flavors during and after tasting. Not my favorite type of IPA but done very well.

Smells like a lot of grapefruit and tropical citrus. Light hopyness with a citrus flavor, backed by a light malt body. Very easy drinking IPA

Hoppy, fruity aroma. Cascade and Simcoe definitely recognizable (I think). Pineapple, grapefruit, citrus. So much fruit in an IPA. Bitter finish, medium carbonation, the perfect balance. So delicious.

Tap at shamrock. Bright yellow gold with lively carbonation that leads to a great white head that lasts. Big pine floral hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced between pine hops and sweet cracker malts. Not a beer for the hop adverse but a treasure for those who do.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden orange. Smells delicious! -- Tropical fruit, pine, pineapple; on the verge of dank. Taste to me is all about the hops, though there is a nice malt backbone that allows all of the flavor hops to shine. Medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Extremely solid IPA.

Pours amber orange. Smells really dank and fruity. Taste matches and lingers nicely for a long time

Tap at Fat Heads. Top notch IPA. Modern feel thanks to the Simcoe, and the Cascade and Columbus round it out. Filtered golden orange body. Foamy off-white head. Fresh, big hop tones. Great balance. Excellent.

On tap at 2014 GTMW, been waiting awhile to try this one, pours a hazy amber orange with a thick white head and lots of lacing, the aroma has a ton of citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, mango and pineapple over flow from the glass, the flavor has a bright hop and fruit front end with a crisp finish of citrus and fruit, mouthfeel was pretty awesome, wow.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear Amber with white head. Nice strong citrus aroma with a little pine. Even some tropical fruits. Taste is a nice clean consistent bitterness with a malt backbone. Moderately heavy bitterness with a mild to moderate sweetness. Flavors of grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits, pine, caramel. Definitely a top tier IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at PDX location. A: Semi - clear orange color, whispy white head, some lacing. N: Pineapple, biscuit, pine, toffee, some grapefruit and mango. Balanced between citrus and earth. T: Drying bitterness, good sweetness underneath. M: Resinous, medium body. Prickly carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. O: A mighty fine IPA. Great balancing act though itís not any thing you havenít had before. Prefer Hop Venom, but would drink this anytime.
