Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is malty, rock candy, and Belgian yeast notes. Super sweet malt with a very nice warmth as the backend of the flavor. Medium bodied with good carbonation. special

Draft. Orange pour with tan head. Super banana and light clove aromas, runts? Finishes with banana, light spice and yeast tones. Way too much banana.

On tap at the brewery. Standard triple. A little heavy with yeast than I normally would like. Would prefer a little more crisp and bubbly. A little sweet too.

Blah. Not a fan. Aroma was actually very good. Strong and yeasty, with heavy light fruit notes. Apple, pear and peach. Pour was a nice clear medium orange with a 3 finger head. Taste was too sweet and syrupy for my tastes. The strong fruitiness overpowered any other flavors. Bubble gum and sticky sweet malt were there as well. Very weak carbonation (which may have been Mad Mex Robinson's fault but who knows) made this a sweet flat mess.

Draft at Dutchís in February í13. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malts, Belgian yeast, banana, candi sugar. The flavor is big sweetmalts, Belgian yeast, some fruity notes, banana, some cloves and other spices, not much in the way of alcohol even though it is listed at 11.3% (now I see it is 10.2%).

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent brownish-orange with light beige lacing. Smells and tastes sweet and yeasty with an average mouthfeel. Bland and forgettable.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a very dark orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy off white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy candied pear, pepper and touches of funk and sourdough bread. The flavor was tangy and a touch dry with notes of table sugar, pepper, pear, sourdough bread and a boozy presence. Very long dryish and boozy sugar and pear finish. The booziness moves in and refuses to vacate. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

On tap. ABV labeled 11.2% but Iím not sure if thatís right. Clear golden / orange color. Thin off-white head, leaves decent lace. Estery belgian yeast nose, some light banana - fruit in there. Great banana, light belgian spice, belgian yeast, very enjoyable flavor. Bigger body, but a dry finish. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Alcohol warmth, yeah, but no bite or burn at all. It is indeed quaffable despite the 10%+ ABV. I actually welcome the warmth on this super cold evening. Sweet taste otherwise. Solid, tasty tripel. Meets my expectations.
