Pours black with lots of brown foam. Initial taste of sweet chocolate with a sweet malt finish. The thick chocolate grows on you and lingers on following tastes ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Actually listed as shakedown imperial stout. At mellow new Albany. Black pour and heavy but balanced feel. Nose is smoky and malt. Would revisit.

On tap at Luke Woleyís. Pours a dark brown black with a slight brown head when I got it. Aromas of fudge and vanilla. Taste is sweet. Sticky thick mouthfeel like a milk stout. Low carb.

Tap at FatHeads, Opaque black body. Lacy off-white head. Thick sweet chocolate tones. Coffee tinged, stick and sweet. Not on the same level as some of their other beers. Still solid. Roasty. A little bit hot. OK.

Just put on tap at my house. Poured into a 8 oz snifter. Nice dark brown body with brownish tinged frothy head that laces the glass nice. Flavors of burnt chocolate. Metallic components to the aroma and beer that would like resolve with warming. Overall fantastic, strong and enjoyable.

Draft. Dark cola with thin mocha head. Lots of roast, chocolate, caramel and a touch of hop bitterness. Nice rich mouthfeel without being too syrupy. Very good.

Dark beer in the snifter with a foamy, sticky beige head. Dried fruit and alcohol in the nose. Initially this beer has tons of chocolate, dried fruit and sweetened coffee flavors over a confident hop bitterness. As it warms the alcohol comes out with the fruity flavors. It finishes with a sticky caramel sweetness and a long green bitterness. Nice impy stout.

Draft at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a deep, mostly opaque brown with a small tan head. Notes of chocolate, roast, nuts, earth, toast, faint coffee, and a very faint note of dried dark fruit - simple and straightforward overall. Medium-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a really malty mouthfeel that has some bitterness in the back end. Good, up-the-middle imperial stout.

Taster at beerfest - nose is roasty. Sip adds chocolate, raisins, coffee grounds, and licorice. Sweet with dark chocolate bitterness. Standout beer.
