COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Once upon a frozen evening way up north, a sweet local honey named Holly inspired our Jolly Fat Man (as only Holly can) to create this festive spiced holiday ale. We think you will enjoy his holiday creation with itís aromas and flavors of Christmas day. Sweet malt, ginger, honey and cinnamon spice. Sip this by the fire with your significant other. Who knows, maybe it will lead to a little inspiration of your own. From our Jolly Fat Man to yours, Happy Holidays.

Draft @ Fatheads. Cloudy brown pour with the typical Christmas spice aromas. Large amounts of spice in aroma and flavor. Lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, toasted malt body and ginger in the finish. Iím glad the ginger isnít over powering. The orange peel gives a nice citrus note to cut the spice. Pretty well made winter brew.

Lots of nutmeg in this bronze beer. Smells like cherry Pepsi. Caramel and lots of brown sugar. And cloves. Quite nice I could drink a growler of this but the heavy Coriander detracts.

12oz bottle shared. Pours bronze orange with off white head. Very pleasant aroma of nutmeg primarily. There is some soft cinnamon in there as well. The flavor is the soft cinnamon and plenty of nutmeg. On the very back you get that bit of ginger. There is a mild alcohol burn but it is faint. This is a medium bodied beer. Overall this is pretty good.

Pours bronze with white head and nice lacing. Aroma of licorice and spices. Reminds me of cola. Taste is the same with extra nutmeg and some cough syrup.

Cinnamon and spice, and everything nice. Cinnamon, clove, allspice, malty toast, spicy alcohol, brown sugar, and some hops in the finish. Sweeter than it is bitter. Tastes classically like a winter warmer, but has a nice buttery sweetness in the middle.

I think I waited too long to drink this. Aroma is very spicy with heavy nutmeg and some cinnamon but also some malt. Flavor is very similar with heavy nutmeg finish is acidic but not much alcohol noted. Mouthfeel is average carbonation is average. Overall this is an okay beer.
