Bordering on the supernatural, Hop Juju is the perfect name for this beer as the magical hops cast their spell with intense, dank aromas of pine and citrus and big, aggressive, bitter flavors of pine, grapefruit and orange. Nicely balanced by a very sturdy malt backbone. and a hint of alcohol.

2/19/15. Bottle sampled during RBWG 2015. Thanks, DocSilverworm! Orange pour with a nice khaki head, great lacing. Awesome aroma - fresh hoppiness abound - citrus, pine, tropical fruits, and more. Great flavor, plenty of fruitiness, lots of hop character, not too bitter, and not dragged down by overly sweet maltiness. Yum.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2015 Bottle pour dark gold with orange hue. Moderate white head. Nose big resin, papaya, dank and hint of licorice. Taste grapefruit bite up front, then sweet and tropical fruit, followed by moderate to strong mid palate bitterness. Dank hop leading to long bitter finish. Good mix of sweet and bitter. Reasonable mouth feel.

Grapefruit, resin, and pine hit you when this beer is opened. It pours a clear amber with a thin white head. The hop flavors are the first to hit you, notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit, and pine, with just a touch of caramel sweetness. Thereís a long lingering bitter finish, and the alcohol is well hidden. This is one fine Double IPA.

At my place on a Friday night while chilling on the computer. Pours brone with some bubbles. Aroma is big strong fruit juice hops, pineapple, sweet wheat hops. Taste is strong juicy fruity hoops the turn to bitterness and piney dryish finish. It is slightly too bitter on the end for me, but the aroma and flavor are fantastic on the front. I love it for the style, but just still prefer floral hops.

Bottle from Joe. Thanks man. Pours beautiful deep clear copper with a creamy two finger off white head. Big juicy grapefruit aroma, some pine, onion, big florals, orange rinds. Flavor is lots of fresh orange rinds, bitter and dry, pine, sweet juicy mango all around. Body is resinous with a very dry finish like Head Hunter has, plenty of carbonation, makes you want to come back for more. Excellent brew.

Bottle at home- pours clear coppery golden, decent off white head. Nose is pungent, apricots, pineapple, pine and resin. Lots of caramel malt sweetness and thicker bodied. Kind of cat pissy to me as the spicy alcohol finish got to me a bit. Solid beer that isn't quite up there with the Dreadnaughts of the world in my book. Clear copper color with little carbonation and not much head. Lacing left on the glass. Aroma of dank, floral grassy hops. Light to medium body, Grassy, citrus hop taste up front, bitter bite on the back end. Dry finish. Not much detection of alcohol. Good beer. Would recommend to others.

Bottle. Glad to finally try this. Clear golden amber pour with a small head that fades to a nice thick ring. Looks awesome. Aroma is surprisingly complex. Pine, grapefruit, dank pot, pineapple, tangerines, light onion and light bubblegum. Tastes even more dank the aroma. Loads of oily dank hops mixed with sweet juicy tropical fruit. Pine, pot and onion are there too. Medium body. Very oily mouthfeel. Great DIPA. A touch more dank than it needs to be but this is just a pleasure to drink.
