Draft at Dutchs. Pours a clear dark golden color with a medium sizedwhite head with good lacing. The nose is big citrus hops, almost juicy. The flavor is citrus favoring orange and tangerine, light toaster bread, grass with mild plus bitterness to the finish. Good, but they have done much better with other beers (head hunter).

Draft to 20 oz pint. Looks solid; a transparent sticky burnt-orange with off-white head and lively carbonation. Smells solid too; Citra hops with a malty backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Good beer, but nowhere near as good as Head Hunter.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy lemon citrus hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew.

On draft at Mad Mex Robinson. Poured hazy orange with sheets of white lacing. Floral and citrus notes in nose and flavor. Smooth going down with good hop bite. Sold IPA but nothing really stands out about this one to take it to the next level.

A very subpar beer. Aroma was weak. Could pick up some melon and cantaloupe but they were faint. Pour was a nice medium gold with a huge two finger white head. Taste was mediocre. Very thin with notes of distant hops and lemon. Not much else. Very light carbonation. Blah. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at mad mex cranberry township. Pours orange with a thin head. Floral and fruit notes on the nose with a subtle woodsy note a well. More floral on the tongue. Finishes clean. Not bad.

Draft last night at mad mex. Going by memory. Darker gold color, light head. Nice aroma of citrus hop. Medium bitterness. Mostly citrus hop bitter in taste, grapfruit notes. Was good.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4035) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark caramel color with a very large fluffy off white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy lemon and pine. The flavor was dry, bitter and astringent with moderate grapefruit and lemon and a tangy and piney middle. The finish was very long, bitter and tangy with lingering grapefruit and lemon. Moderately full bodied.

FH IPA Fest, they really know how to make IPA’s and this is no exception, though the citra has more of a bite than other citra hopped beers.. still fantastic.
