4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fresh growler in the mail today from Joe. Thanks buddy. Pours beautiful clear golden colored with a big creamy white head. Lots of citrus on the aroma, some onionyness, pine, just fresh hop leaves all around, and some sweet honey maltiness. Very aromatic. Flavor follows closely with the aroma with lots of citrus and pine, floral notes, some onion notes, lemon peel, dry bitter finish. Really nice. A lot of flavor coming from this at only 7.5%. Medium bodied, very slick and dank, with a dry finish. Good stuff. These guys know how to do their hops.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Fat Heads Portland - Pours golden orange with an off-white head. The aroma is very fruity with tropical fruits, some citrus and is offset with caramel malt. It has a medium smooth body with soft carbonation. The flavor starts with spicy hops, some fruit and dankness. The finish adds grapefruit and shows some alcohol Quite good.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep golden color out of the tap with a sticky white head. Great hop nose of tropical fruit, red grapefruit, lemongrass and a whiff of cat urine. This is an aggressively hoppy beer with mango, grapefruit zest, pine and bitter orange in the finish. Firm enough malts. Was very good with the Bay of Pigs sandwich.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another great IPA by fatheads, flavor profile and intensity made me think it was a DIPA. Wonderful citrus fruit flavors in the aroma and flavors. Would like to try this side by side with headhunter.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Winter Warmer Fest 2014
Fat Heads may have outdone themselves with this remarkable IPA. Keeping up a tradition of excellence it is an abusive hop bomb from the first sniff to the final sip. This is just one of many reasons to visit their tasting room or brewpub.
Aroma / Appearance - A coppery semitransparent base looks a bit like a melted creamsicle. Bright earthy hops, lemons, citrus, and tropical fruits explode in the air like a Fourth of July party.
Flavor / Palate - Citrus is bright, crisp, and aggressive like licking gritty sandpaper. The hops continue their assault for a few more minutes until a bitter transition that is sticky in the throat. Just as good as something like Dreadnaught or White Rajah this is worth seeking out fresh.
