Draught sample at the Cleveland International Beer Fest on 5/14/11. Clear darkest brown pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of coffee to the point of green bell peppers, along with chocolate. Coffee and bell pepper flavor with chocolate and a roasty finish.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark black color with a large foamy dark brown head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was coffee, vanilla and light roasty malts. The flavor was dryish and roasty with notes of coffee, vanilla, cocoa and a touch of wood smoke. The finish was long with coffee, wood, roasty malts and cocoa lingering. Full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Interesting.
