4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smokey chocolatey aroma. Malty beer but thin for a stout. Slightly over carbonated. Good all around but a bit sweet.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Looks great, big and black and all. Nice moosey head. Coffee black choco smell. First taste is big black kick in the jaw. The taste is so overwhelming, whewy chewy terrible dark chocolaty. Very little sweetness and quite terrible nasty alky mouth coating thing. What does lye taste like? Whow. Becomes a little volatile near the end. Somebody is trying to bullshit me by putting it in the sweet stout style...HAHAHAH. Try stout or even impy stout.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark black pour with a creamy/foamy brownish head and sticky lacing ... aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted malts ..... taste is of bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla bean and some bitter hops .... slight caramel malt on the back end ... mouthfeel is a little lively with a medium body and a little thin with light slickness ... finishes with a light bitter/roasted bite .... smells and looks fantastic just too carbonated for me

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Huge aroma full of chocolate, vanilla, and charred wood. Chocolate is more subtle in the flavor, but itís there. More char, coffee, and a bite from the hops in a dry finish. Good flavor, great balance, more hops than most stouts.
This is one to find.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Really good. chocolate really stands out in the aroma. Color is very dark with a really nice tan head. chocolate is the obvious flavor initially and then the caramel starts to show on the palate. a very good, very drinkable stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle. Pours very dark brown with a thick, bubbly, frothy light brown head. Tastes like dark chocolate and booze, with sweet vanilla and a dry roasted flavor. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like burnt toast, booze, and sweet chocolate.

Bottle. Pours deep, dark brown with thick, frothy tan head. Aroma is roasted and chocolate malts, prunes, light toffee, and faint espresso. Flavor is creamy chocolate notes with some dark fruit esters, and faint caramel with a roasted, dry finish. Medium/full body and medium carbonation.

Not a great beer, but definitely a good one. Isnít something I would call a go to, but if the opportunity comes again to have it, I will.

Snozzwanger is the word of the day. Nice dark, dark beer. Thick, dark brown head. This beer has good chocolate, cream, and malt flavor. The vanilla flavor is just barely a hint. Good beer.

12 oz bottle. Slight chocolate in the nose. Barely can taste the chocolate or vanilla in the beer. I can taste the carbonation more than anything

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Interesting Beer. Wonderful aromatic mix of chocolate, smoke, and earth. Flavor starts with a carbonated bite and smoothly finishes with a chocolate like sweetness. Pours dark brown with dissipating tan head. I love carbonation, but this style could do with a little less than this brew offers. Bottle - Received in Trade
