3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
13 oz draught at Pint Room, Dublin. Black; foamy tan head that dissipates into a light covering. Good lacing. Aroma roast, coffee, chocolate. Medium-full body, predominantly roasty with coffee. Very good, yet very forgettable; I had multiple Dragonís Milkís after this and they blew this beer away.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle at home. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized dark tan head. The aroma has ample roasted malts, dark chocolate, hint of sweetness, piney hop character. The flavor has more roasted malts, dark chocolate, pine resin, some citrus, solid amount of bitterness lasts to the finish, as this warms it becomes more hoppy, I generally donít like hoppy stouts, but this works, almost like a stout/black ipa blend, good beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Tap) A poor stout. Thin and a little bitter, with no richness. The taste is "okay." Not recommended.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle, bottled on 12/29/14. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around for a little while. Thereís also a lot of lacing. The brew smells like roasted malt, pine and citrusy (orange peel, grapefruit) hops, bittersweet chocolate, and a bit of coffee. The taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, but thereís also some burnt/charred malt and dark breadiness noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, itís creamy and coating with a good amount of carbonation. I think this is a good hoppy stout, its definitely worth picking up! $10.99 a 4-pack.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a great stout. Itís different. I really donít taste or think that there are citrus hops in it upon the first drink. Later you realize how the balance of roasted malts and citrus hops.

Not my style of stout. A little thin and the booziness is strong. Roasted malts and some sweetness.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pitch black pour with a 1 finger creamy head that fades slowly to a film leaving great webbing. Aroma is pretty hoppy. Pine, dark chocolate, oranges, coffee beans, burnt toast, and cocoa. Tastes slightly sweet up front. Milk chocolate and light citrus. Turns into dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and strong pine by the finish. Light orange peel and nuts too. Medium to full body. High, creamy carbonation. Really good. This could be called an Imperial Black IPA easily.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Fat Headís Portland, pours a dark mahogany with a small tan head - unusually not black for an impie stout. Aroma brings out notes of roasted malt upfront, with a touch of cocoa. Flavour reveals notes of cocoa powder upfront, along with medium roasted malt. Quite light on the palate and rather easy drinking for an impie. Good stuff.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft @ FH on 11/26/14 in a sample glass. Pitch black in color, head that dissolved real quick. Nose of chocolate with plenty of roasted malts and piney hops. Flavor is similar with a large amount of piney hops behind them. Nice lingering coffee bitterness with plenty lasting pine hops in the finish. Body has a creamy feel with a soft to lively carbonation. A good amount of bitterness for a stout, but overall, a really fine stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch black just some minor reddish edges. 1 finger head that faded slowly. Milk chocolate forward with a light roast character. The taste is a different story. Loads of chocolate, loads of roast and a faint roast background. this is really exceptional but itís just a tad too sweet.
