Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. Rich and creamy with a chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Flavors of pumpkin up front then sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish. We stopped just short of the whipped cream. But we like the way you think.

355ml bottle. Dark amber shade. Small head. Nice aroma with vanilla and ginger. Gets some of the pumpkin flavour too. Tastes like a nice caramelly red ale with spices lurking all around. No real flaws and definitely one of the better pumpkin beers Iíve had. Doesnít drink near 9% either.

Aromas of pumpkin, allspice and clove, some vanilla. Taste is pumpkin, allspice, chickory root, and light vanilla. The bite of all the spices is very strong in this beer.

Bottle from somewhere in NW Florida. I think the name is appropriate: Imperial pumpkin ale. Nice notes of vegetal pumpkin and spices with a warming hint of the 9 ABV. So tasty I drank the whole bottle before I thought about specifics for rating it. Nice fall treat.

Fat Headís Spooky Tooth is a quite mellow for an Imperial pumpkin. Dark brown pour with a fluffy white head. Surprisingly low aroma. Taste is a mellow blend of pumpkin and vanilla - not real exciting but still good. Spooky Tooth does a good job of hiding the high ABV.

Little too sweet, but they probably did their best to mask the 9%. Don't get me wrong, this is a really good beer....just on the sweeter side. Nice maltiness and spice. Sits on the palate great. I would get this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Fat Headís PDX. A: Dark amber color, thin white head. N: Pumpkin, all-spice, cardamom, toffee, graham cracker, cinnamon, and plenty of that characteristic cola flavor. T: Sweet and spicy. Lightly bitter. M: Medium body, no alcohol, soft carbonation. O: Solid pumpkin beer. I find it similar, but slightly superior to, Elysianís The Great Pumpkin. I wish this didnít have that cola flavor, however.

bit opaque dark orange, no foam head remaining in glass. Flavory aroma, applecake. Fruity taste, with a bite. complex. (Cleveland 201510)

Tasted from bottle. Pours amber with off white head. Aroma is cinnamon, all spice, and other other spices. Taste is similar to aroma. On the spicier side of pumpkin beers but good pumpkin and spice flavor. A mild bitterness with some earthly and caramel flavors as well. Overall a very good pumpkin beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Pours amber with a foamy light tan head. Nose is baking spice, squash, and a little vanilla. Taste is super balanced with light bread, vanilla, and a bready, pumpkin flavor. Thin and mellow carbonation. Pretty good!

A little too much cinnamon makes this a bit more bitter than your average pumpkin ale, but otherwise delicious. Good flavor and easy to drink, despite being 9% ABV. Another great Fat Heads brew!
