COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. Rich and creamy with a chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Flavors of pumpkin up front then sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish. We stopped just short of the whipped cream. But we like the way you think.

12oz 4-pack scooped up in Dayton OH. Unfiltered burgundy-brown body. Patchy, steady off-white head. Sweet and rich, the with a real deep caramel pumpkin flavor. The spices balance, rather than overwhelm. Solid offering, glad I picked up a few,.

Bottle. Pours a deep coppery brown with a little bit of head and a whole lot of pie spice aromas. Flavor is heavy with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and the like which all cover a brown sugar and toffee sweetness. The beer is somewhat thick and sticky with a nearly cloying body and flavor in the finish. It’s good, but it would be a one-per-day drink with the amount of residual sugar.

Bottle rec’d in trade. Nice dark orange pour. Aroma is pumpkin malt and slight spice. First taste is verrry good. Pumpkin with some spice and sweet finish. Nice palate. As I drank more the sweetness was too much but still one ofvthe better pumpkin beers

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Hazy amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of gourd! Yes, this one really smelled like pumkins. Taste had way more gourd than anythig. Else too. Fantastic to see a beer where the pumpkin outweighs the spice by a long way.

Bottle from a recent trade. Nice drink with the right amount of spice so that you are not overpowered and feel like you are drinking potpourri. Cinnamon and clover a little bit of red fruit all working in the flavor. Toffee and caramel. Finish is where most of the spice is and you are left with some for a while after you finish your sip.

Bottle: Pours a deep amber with two fingers of creamy beige head. Retains a thin beige layer throughout the glass. Nose is spicey, a nice blend of the ‘pumpkin pie’ spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and just a little sweetness. Tastes of pumpkin and many spices. Nothing really stands alone, but if I had to pick one out I’d go with nutmeg. Seemingly pie crust too, which is nice. The malt bill is sweet enough to tame the spiciness that is too often overbearing in this style. Really well balanced and quaffable. The pie crust element is impressive and the overall balance is delightful. Really nice pumpkin ale. Thanks JStax!

12oz bottle thanks to jstax. Pours out golden topped with a long lasting head. Nose is pumpkin pie malts and a nice spice mix. Taste is more of the pumpkin pie spice and a nice sweetness. This thing hides the high abv very well and I would have to say this was my favourite pumpkin beer of the season.

Average pumpkin beer. Really hoping for more based on Fat Heads other beers. Not much to smell and even worse to look at; but redeems itself with good flavor(albeit on the sweet side). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle- pours hazy amber, dense off white ring of foam. Nose is raw vegetal pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla, cola as well. On the palate, heavier bodied with brown sugar, pumpkin pie, not overly spiced more vegetal pumpkin notes. Abv well hidden. This is what a Fall pumpkin beer should consist of
