3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Hazy amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of gourd! Yes, this one really smelled like pumkins. Taste had way more gourd than anythig. Else too. Fantastic to see a beer where the pumpkin outweighs the spice by a long way.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from a recent trade. Nice drink with the right amount of spice so that you are not overpowered and feel like you are drinking potpourri. Cinnamon and clover a little bit of red fruit all working in the flavor. Toffee and caramel. Finish is where most of the spice is and you are left with some for a while after you finish your sip.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Pours a deep amber with two fingers of creamy beige head. Retains a thin beige layer throughout the glass. Nose is spicey, a nice blend of the ‘pumpkin pie’ spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and just a little sweetness. Tastes of pumpkin and many spices. Nothing really stands alone, but if I had to pick one out I’d go with nutmeg. Seemingly pie crust too, which is nice. The malt bill is sweet enough to tame the spiciness that is too often overbearing in this style. Really well balanced and quaffable. The pie crust element is impressive and the overall balance is delightful. Really nice pumpkin ale. Thanks JStax!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle thanks to jstax. Pours out golden topped with a long lasting head. Nose is pumpkin pie malts and a nice spice mix. Taste is more of the pumpkin pie spice and a nice sweetness. This thing hides the high abv very well and I would have to say this was my favourite pumpkin beer of the season.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Average pumpkin beer. Really hoping for more based on Fat Heads other beers. Not much to smell and even worse to look at; but redeems itself with good flavor(albeit on the sweet side).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle- pours hazy amber, dense off white ring of foam. Nose is raw vegetal pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla, cola as well. On the palate, heavier bodied with brown sugar, pumpkin pie, not overly spiced more vegetal pumpkin notes. Abv well hidden. This is what a Fall pumpkin beer should consist of

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to Jstax ! Pours a deep amber color with a finger of eggshell foam. The nose is raw pumpkin, brown sugar and toasted malts. The palate follows with a nice sweet up front pumpkin pie roundness, brown sugar flavor dominates... as the sweetness rolls into the mid palate there is a good dose of allspice, nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon bitterness on the finish to clean up the sweetness. Not bad with alcohol very hidden.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a finger of off-white head that lasts only as a big ring. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice, caramel, toast, and pumpkin. The flavor is mostly the same; good balance of spice, pumpkin, and sweet pie crust malts and sugars. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, malty, spicy mouthfeel. The 9% ABV is totally hidden. Very good pumpkin ale.
