GTMW 25. Poured hazy dark pumpkin color with a large off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid doughy pumpkin pie and sweet cream aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Heavy pumpkin, spice and brown sugar flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of modeaate to long duration. Standout seasonal beer.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Dark orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head. Spotty lacing. Caramel malt and ginger aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet malt, ginger and pumpkin flavors. Sweet pumpkin spice aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy beige head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy caramel, honey, pie crust and very faint vague spices. The flavor was tangy and boozy with elements of bread, nut, caramel, honey and trace vague spices. Long boozy finish with tangy caramel lingering. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Pint at Fat Head’s on 10/7/11. Clear copper pour with a medium tan head. Sweet malt nose with ginger and cinnamon notes. Cinnamon flavor up front giving way to sweetness and caramel malt before some ginger character leading to a semi-sweet finish.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2012 On tap at Vintage Estates, nice place. This beer is much better than I thought it would be. Slight haze on a yellow beer that is slightly darker than pale lager. Somewhat sweet aroma. No co2 on the toungue, almost cask in nature. More pumpkin forward than most pumpkin beers and it is somewhat pleasant! Easy to get along with. Yez, rather mild with manners. Probalby one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve tasted ina few years.

Draft at Great Taste. Pours a deep orangey brown with a sticky offwhite head that lasts. The nose is great. Pumpkins spice, true pumpkin pie, caramel & cream chees frosting. On taste, big and rich, excellent spicing that is balanced by a strong caramelly sweetness that persists. There may be some fruity sweet potatoe type notes as well that work great. This is what I expect out of a good pumpkin beer. Spot on.

This poured a darker orange colorw ith a white head. Aroma was of cinnamon, caramel malt, and some allspice. Flavor was almost all cinnamon, not much other spices comming through with light pumpkin notes and some toasted malts. A bit of a disappointment.

On tap at Dutch’s. Mildly hazy orange color. Good foamy khaki head, leaves good spray of lace. Wow, super smooth and creamy. After the spice-bombs that I’m used to getting from imperial pumpkin ales, this is a very pleasant surprise. Pumpkin pie, whipped cream, brown sugar, pleasant wheat graininess, this is right on the mark. Still a noticeable amount of spice, but it’s a pleasant amount, not overpowering. Good sweeter light spice light bitter taste. Lighter, soft carbonation, smooth and creamy texture, surprisingly easy to drink. The alcohol is hard to find in this. Excellent imperial pumpkin.

Draft at Mad mex cranberry township. Pours burnt umber with a massive white head. Big spice notes on the nose. I paired this one with some spicy tex-mex food which really brought out the pumpkin on the tongue. Better than I could have ever hoped.
