Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. A chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Rich and creamy with pumpkin up front then sweet malt flavors, pie crust graininess, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish.

GTMW 25. Poured hazy dark pumpkin color with a large off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid doughy pumpkin pie and sweet cream aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Heavy pumpkin, spice and brown sugar flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of modeaate to long duration. Standout seasonal beer.

Bottle courtesy of nuplastikk, thank you! Hazy amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of gourd! Yes, this one really smelled like pumkins. Taste had way more gourd than anythig. Else too. Fantastic to see a beer where the pumpkin outweighs the spice by a long way.

Bottle @ home, thanks to Jake. Pour a a deep amber color with a khaki head. Aroma is nice and spicy with plenty of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. Sweet caramel, toasted malt, toffee, and fruit. The flavor is quite sweet. Notes of toffee, caramel, and fruit. Toasted malt, clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pretty solid.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Dark orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head. Spotty lacing. Caramel malt and ginger aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet malt, ginger and pumpkin flavors. Sweet pumpkin spice aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

12 oz. bottle from Dutchís. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a finger of off-white head that lasts only as a big ring. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice, caramel, toast, and pumpkin. The flavor is mostly the same; good balance of spice, pumpkin, and sweet pie crust malts and sugars. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, malty, spicy mouthfeel. The 9% ABV is totally hidden. Very good pumpkin ale.

On tap at Dutchís. Mildly hazy orange color. Good foamy khaki head, leaves good spray of lace. Wow, super smooth and creamy. After the spice-bombs that Iím used to getting from imperial pumpkin ales, this is a very pleasant surprise. Pumpkin pie, whipped cream, brown sugar, pleasant wheat graininess, this is right on the mark. Still a noticeable amount of spice, but itís a pleasant amount, not overpowering. Good sweeter light spice light bitter taste. Lighter, soft carbonation, smooth and creamy texture, surprisingly easy to drink. The alcohol is hard to find in this. Excellent imperial pumpkin.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy beige head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy caramel, honey, pie crust and very faint vague spices. The flavor was tangy and boozy with elements of bread, nut, caramel, honey and trace vague spices. Long boozy finish with tangy caramel lingering. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Pint at Fat Headís on 10/7/11. Clear copper pour with a medium tan head. Sweet malt nose with ginger and cinnamon notes. Cinnamon flavor up front giving way to sweetness and caramel malt before some ginger character leading to a semi-sweet finish.

12 oz. bottle from Dutchís. Pours a clear dark amber/copper color with a small, fizzy, disappearing beige head. The aroma and flavor has a big burst of pumpkin pie spices, sweet notes, vanilla, some lightly toasted crust, the spices tingle on the palate for a while. There are quite a few solid pumpkin beers coming out of Ohio and this is no exception.
