COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. Rich and creamy with a chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Flavors of pumpkin up front then sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish. We stopped just short of the whipped cream. But we like the way you think.

12oz bottle from trade. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted pumpkin, caramel malt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Slight funk in the aroma as well. Taste of sweet spices, pumpkin, bready malts, caramel, and brown sugar.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/27/2013. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep reddish orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pumpkin, brown sugar, caramel, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and herbal earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of malt, pumpkin, and spice notes; with good strength. Taste of brown sugar, pumpkin, caramel, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and herbal earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of brown sugar, pumpkin, caramel, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of pumpkin, malt, and spice flavors; with a great malt sweetness/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a moderately slick and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice imperial pumpkin ale. All around good balance and complexity of malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours orange with a fleeting wispy head. Pumpkin spice aroma with malt and some alcohol notes. Big pumpkin pie flavor with some warming at the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly creamy. The carbonation level is pretty low. The finish is sweet and cloying.

12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Nice head retention on a dark caramel/ amber beer. The nose is the usual spice of nutmeg, cinnamon and a nice amount of pumpkin. Malt sweetness with the above mentioned spices and an added vanilla and pie crust. Texture is borderline cloying sweetness. I enjoy malty brews so to say this is overly sweet is a bit of a surprise for me, since I donít say that often. AnyhowÖ. Yeah, sweet.

12oz 4-pack scooped up in Dayton OH. Unfiltered burgundy-brown body. Patchy, steady off-white head. Sweet and rich, the with a real deep caramel pumpkin flavor. The spices balance, rather than overwhelm. Solid offering, glad I picked up a few,.

Bottle. Pours a deep coppery brown with a little bit of head and a whole lot of pie spice aromas. Flavor is heavy with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and the like which all cover a brown sugar and toffee sweetness. The beer is somewhat thick and sticky with a nearly cloying body and flavor in the finish. Itís good, but it would be a one-per-day drink with the amount of residual sugar.

Bottle recíd in trade. Nice dark orange pour. Aroma is pumpkin malt and slight spice. First taste is verrry good. Pumpkin with some spice and sweet finish. Nice palate. As I drank more the sweetness was too much but still one ofvthe better pumpkin beers
