Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. Rich and creamy with a chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Flavors of pumpkin up front then sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish. We stopped just short of the whipped cream. But we like the way you think.

A lot of spice and pumpkin modest. Rich and the above hampers drinkability.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Aroma was really great, doesnít even smell like any alcohol/beer, just earthy and pumpkin spice. Wasnít much of a head, but that was itís only weakness. Tasted amazing, would for sure get again/suggest.

Deep hazy Amber pour thin off white head .... Aroma of nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger and earthy .... Taste is of earthy pumpkin with a nice balance of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and brown sugar..... Has a malty backbone and finishes clean and dry .... Very solid pumpkin brew. Has a great balance of flavor

Bottle. Nutmeg, ginger. light cinnamon, and pumpkin malt aroma. Dark amber with small head. Sweet-bitter nutmeg, ginger, and caramel/pumpkin malt flavor. Nice balance - hides its strength well.

Bottle from the Pennsylvania Underground Beer Railroad. Pours deep copper with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is intense pumpkin puree, spice, caramel malt. Tastes of intense pumpkin, hefty mouthfeel, well integrated pumpkin spice. This one kicks ass.

Amazing how a beer with this much alcohol can have no aroma at all. I put my nose almost into the beer and could only pick up a faint hint of cinnamon. Pour was a nice enough dark gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was thin and one dimensional. Not bad but not very complex. The cinnamon and brown sugar are the main flavors with some malty sweetness in the front. Finish is thin and slightly spicy. Does hide the alcohol incredibly well...unfortunately itís because the beer doesnít have big flavor. Mild carbonation. Average.

Draft, pours hazy light brown with small white head along with minimal lacing. Flavor is spicy cinnamon apple for most part with too much nutmeg also. Thin and ashy aggressive with more of a fireball finish than authentic pumpkin. Aroma was very light and not nearly as heavy handed as flavor but nothing great here. It would be nice if every brewer decided to stop making pumpkin beers for a year or two. Everyone could use the break.
